I was listening to Jeff and Tim Buckley, and then the sadness set in.
Now, only silence again.

Does anyone think that ideas can become idolatry? (sorry, I'm reading Huxley) I can never listen to Leonard again ... sniff  god said, or Aldous (pg. 250 in the Perennial, another absolute? :? ) Oh well, there's always that goddess option, drumming and all. And goddess salad dressing! Yum! :o o...

and the inverse: shape or form, in any way (and without form, by the way), without sex there wouldn't be god.

Is God created in the image of man/woman?

Hello Robin, I was wondering, a little less now, but it still comes up, why was it that it took so long for me to recognize or even hear Cohen's music? Thought, it was a punishment from God. But then I asked other people who I thought were kind of cool, and they would just look at me with a blank ex...

I don't know what it means. I can't even show you what it feels like.
Well, I could try ...
No, I really can't ...
Okay, it's like a marshmallow that is perfectly toasted over the fire.
That should do it.

Well, any way it's done is practically marvelous. Cause I am working on my own version, yeah, me too. I'm going to sing it at church. I haven't been there in awhile and was thinking it would be a good way to get out there and open the old folks or folkies up a bit. Ahhh, it'll probably go right over...

Another version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah is just the spoken line, "You don't really care for music, do ya?"
That is worth breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert.
Of course the timing needs to be in there. And good eye contact. A little hunger never hurts. Oop!

I would be listening to Jeff right now if my wif hadn't taken him out on a walkman on a walk.

I thought she said she was taking Jip for a walk, and that was okay.

Except for our dog's name isn't Jip. huh...

Hello Elizabeth,

Well, since that night my wife too fell in love with both Leonard, and Bob,
in that order.

For me, Cohen was a midlife music find. Thank God!

mountain covers

Sometimes there is a resting mountain on the bed and thoughts of some who had to climb way up instead to see this face, the sky tower rockets burning hands holding on to hands mother earth is yearning and standing against a flat rock just then just then a pause in space the solid place beneath the b...

Very true George, I do recognize the wonderful dynamics of music. I was just looking for an easy answer before going back to bed. And now, I'm going to bed again, and have no thoughts at all. With the music of waves lapping the shore , just rest.

Thank you Linda, jurica, and George. This is definitely something worth looking in to. I think that music itself has curative powers, especially about the mind and emotions. So I'll look up the mount baldy stuff. I know age and fewer attachments to wants lessen depression's hold , getting one's way ...
