What other music do you like?
Hi pipkinra ~
I've never been to France, but I certainly know what you mean about Quebec City, perhaps the closest thing to Paris without having to cross the water. I loved French Canada, too, and unless it's undergone massive change, still do. I would be so happy if you were to say you're from France.

Buenos Aires is the most European city of the Americas and, as poet Facundo Cabral has stated, the most Americanized European city.... Caruso went to sing at the Colon Theater in BA before he went to the Metropolitan in NY.... BA is my favorite place outside the US after Paris...lizzytysh wrote:Hi pipkinra ~

Life is the final riddle, we all give up on it eventually...
With no disrespect to LC--
Mozart's operas, especially Don Giovanni and Die Zauberflote, definitely contain the most amazing music ever written. Most of the lyrics are pretty silly, but the melodies are heavenly. It really is a pity the man died in his thirties.
I also love Schubert, Bach, Mahler, Bruch, Mendelsohn, Rimsky-Korsakov, George Gershwin, and many others too numerous to list.
