So Much
There is so much good in the bad, and so much bad in the good, that when asked what spot best stood, I wouldn’t tell ya -- even if I could. k. Idea taken from Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson’s quote: "There is so much good in the worst of us, an so much bad in the best of us, that it behooves al...

Re: The Boys of their Youth
ahhh, Boss, I love it! Your memories are perfect; 14 is perfect with all of its imperfectness. It is lovely when memories are reawakened.
Cheers, and thanks for the post.

tea time
The teapot in my hand offers warmth and comfort. I tip it and the tea flows out and as it pours into the cup the sound budges out through the liquid causing me to recoil and I am instantly battered with pretentious, fake, unknowing sneers, cast down eyes and shrugged off appeals for sight. This soun...

The Perfect Moment
So there was a perfect moment. It really was quite perfect. Time stood still as it does in every perfect moment. Enchantment filled my shoes and made them light. The heart it fluttered and the breath it tickled. Life filled with a sunshine the brightest of bright. It really was the perfect moment. I...

Re: Daddy's Little Princess.
Wow, why all of these comments about father daughter relationships? No parents do the "right parenting", how about the girl herself? This poem is beautiful in speaking to the hidden life that lays within all of us. The surface is always so lovely isn't it? As is this lovely poem.

Call
Call I wait and I wait for your call. I wait and I wait for no one’s call, but I wait and I wait for your call. I hope you don’t call. I am better if you don’t call. I will stop caring if there’s no call. I am better without the call. Then there is no need for any call. For life without a call, is l...

Where?
I want to go . . . . I want to, . . .- I just want to go . . . . I verbally stumbled out to my girls as we sat on the bar making bad drinking decisions ––again. Where, Where do you want to go He said Where am I taking you - he meant. Where did he come from? Who sent him to offer me everything? No qu...

I don't believe in fireworks
I don’t believe in fireworks I don’t believe people walk into your life. I don’t believe people walk into your life and distract you. I don’t believe people walk into your life and distract you while doves move into your shoes. I don’t believe people walk into your life and dance with you while thos...
