Do You Trust Your Teddy?
Teddy bears won’t share
What they’re feeling inside
That puffy, squishy ecstasy
They never will confide.
Their lips are sealed securely
Below a button nose
Spilling their guts ‘bout anything
Just leaves us to suppose.
They never do reveal
Anything I’m told
Concerning past done deeds
Be they funny, wild or bold.
Such fuzzy ears must hear
Buzzwords all the time
But they never speak a single note
Disclosing teddy mind.
Innocence just oozes from
Their cutie-pie brown eyes
These unassuming pillows
Would make such perfect spies.
What they know’s locked up
In cloudy little heads
Silence is their maxim
As they lie there on the beds.
All those secrets held
N’er to be divulged
Can you trust a body
That is bearing such a bulge?
