I wish to change the title of this poem to 'Chelsea Hotel #2, A Reprise' since the poem is as much a response to Nora singing Chelsea Hotel #2 for me, as much as it is anything else. I would be pleased to know what anyone thinks of this. Please advise.

I think it is way better than "So Brave and So Sweet", that's for sure!

Hi Mark ~

Your original title relates as much to your personal knowledge as it does your poem. Your new choice, which works for me, too, doesn't have immediate connections to the song, but can be understood more easily in that context... and for you, with her dedication. I like " . . . A Reprise."

You should call it simply "Nora".

As I believe you noted in another thread,
Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen are, for all
practical purposes, interchangeable.

In this case Bob Dylan wrote the relevant song.
The one containing the lines
I can still hear the sounds of those Methodist bells,
I'd taken the cure and had just gotten through,
Stayin' up for days in the Chelsea Hotel,
Writin' "Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" for you.
He called it simply "Sara".

Hi Mark ~

As good as your idea was, I must retrieve my earlier endorsement.

Who could not truly agree with the simple beauty of Greg's suggestion... it's the truth.
