PULA MEETUP REPORTS

Time to open a new thread for the meetup in Pula! With so many members in the beautiful city, this has certainly been one of our main gatherings during the Europen 2013 tour.
Eija and I returned from Pula last night via Ljubljana, after a most successful and busy long weekend. Eija will sort her photos and post a Gallery soon.
We want to thank Tom for excellent arrangements of the meetup program, and Wendy for helping him in the pre-meetup communication with members. Everything went so smoothly!

Yesterday Eija and I went to the Pula Arena one more time to see the underground exhibitions. We noticed a group with English speaking guide, and joined it to hear what she is telling about the history of this ancient Arena.
She said the Arena is still used for concerts, and "few days ago we had here Leonard Cohen, you now the man of those depressing songs"

Hello everyone
I've just returned home to a cold Australia, and would like to thank those of you who made me very welcome at both the concert and the Istria bus trip.
It was fantastic to put faces to names, and I feel that you all went out of your way to make me feel included in your 'family group'.
Should any of you ever need accommodation in Victoria, Australia then please feel free to contact me. I don't live right in Melbourne but am just over an hours train ride away.
Would love to meet with you all again sometime, so if not here, then I may just have to attend one of the overseas activities.
