Kneel and pray-
Utter not a word
From your lips
Or in your heart
It will rise in you
Like waves
across a field
On a July day
Kneel and pray
Re: Kneel and pray
Let it rise
Let it rise
Let it rise
'In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer' - Albert Camus
Re: Kneel and pray
This has a nice feel to it Lonndubh - calming.
I like that - it suites that internal type of feeling that can come with wordless prayer or meditation.Like waves
across a field
Re: Kneel and pray
???Like waves

Seeds for thought.

"Without light or guide, save that which burned in my heart." San Juan de la Cruz.

We’ve all come to
This moment
To find out
Who we are.
Painted colors
Scribed words
Sweetly found.

Re: Kneel and pray
Hi Cate Mat and Gully
Thank you for your kind words and attention.
when Matt wrote his last piece 'Though i Stagger ' it reminded me of this piece which was hidden away somewhere
it also reminds me of my father who knelt fervently every night to pray and my mother who would say to our delight when someone chanced to call in the evening and stayed late "I think we'll say our own few tonight "
