The lady from Verona
spies my activity
She fans the flames
of my hunger
My appetite
erupts into a desire
to bequeath
what I have withheld
This lady from Verona
demands the verse
that is mine
I oblige
I gladly oblige
for that is the option
that I choose for her

The View I Have Felt Before...
This poem reminds me of the few people that have taken me to other worlds without even knowing them. Certain people strike me without words for their looks, style, and approach to life. Pete, thank you for reminding me of what I have not felt in a while.

Hi Andrea,
Hope you don't mind me posting your poem..too late now anyway
Hi everyone else
I have been advised, by some, not to set the scene for a poem but I tend to disagree.
I didn't set the scene for this one but in retrospect I will say that it all started in the chatroom 2 years ago..........
and that is all I am saying.
(don't blush Andrea.....
...too late)
