Re: Concerts in Spain (several threads merged)
News from Cap Roig:

Who said Spanish concerts were cheaper??
15 agost
2009 Leonard Cohen "World Tour 2009"
groc (yelow) 65€ verd (green) 105€ lila (violet) 145€ blau (blue) 185€ VIP 225€
Llotges VIP 25% increment amb accés parking VIP i terrassa. (VIP loge 25% increase with parking and terrasse acces)
Zona VIP central 10% increment. (VIP zone central 10% increase)
Tots els concerts començaran a les 22:00h.
* Visa clàssic i Visa Or amb un màxim de 18 euros de descompte per targeta. (reduction paying with Classic Visa or Gold Visa reduction up to 18€)
I've just seen there's an English version on the web.
Cap Roig will be a unique venue for LC but with those prices, my 2nd row at Sant Jordi in BCN should be enough....
Good lock on 11th!!

Thanks
Yes they are scary prices !!
Can anyone help by guiding us to a way of seeing where each colour of seat is,
and if possible, offering their own opinion of those colours ?
I think I would financially have to sit further back but being deaf, would probably
risk not hearing much at all
Thanks for help.

Sorry, I haven't been able to find a seat map.
Probably we will have to wait until 11th when the sail starts.

Jesus they are scary prices. Especially in the current economic climate.

Hi, wonder if anyone can give me some advice. Have booked tickets for Barcelona but when I made the booking I had to use a friend's computer (we were in the middle of a 2 day power cut at home so no internet connection - how frustrating was that!?!), anyway, I didn't have my passport with me & put a different number in (I think it was my credit card numer, was very stressed at the time!!), have opted to collect the tickets, will this cause me a problem, was wondering whether I should e-mail ticktack (whatever their name is) & explain situation. Also from reading other threads it seems as though most of you have paid extra to have tickets delivered, will I have any problems collecting them and if so, when & where is the best place ansd time for collection? (will be flying out to Barcelona on the Sunday afternoon before the concert). I did order tickets trough them when I went to see Crowded House 2 years ago & no problems collecting tickets. Thanks for any advice.

Don't worry... it is normal.. many people will be picking up their tickets at the venue..
I have done this before..... they have an office or a trailer parked near the entrance usually..... also you can try to contact other people to be reassured of the Barcelona situation...... "For Your Smile" might be a useful person to ask.. he is Spanish and may know more abput the Barcelona venue.

Many thanks for this. Can anyone who has been there tell us why the yellow seats [though apparently closer than many others] are so 'cheap' ?
Also, will they use videoscreeens at this venue do you think, based on past
experience ?
Thanks so much

Hi Seán
Thanks for the advice on the Barcelona tickets, I'm more concerned about the fact that I didn't give them my passport number than collecting the tickets, so think I will e-mail Tick Tack Ticket anyway

Many international members will stay at Onix Liceo Barcelona http://www.hotelonixliceo.com/en
Excellent price/quality ratio, and splendid location only 100 m from Las Ramblas.

Re: Concerts in Spain (several threads merged)
Hi Jackie,
Like you and probably others, I also entered an incorrect passport no.
I don't think it will be a problem as the the important document to have with you is the debit card/credit card with which you paid for your ticket.
The passport (I think) is necessary to confirm that you are the person to whom the debit/cr card belongs
Thanks
Dave

If you do email them and they state different,I would be grateful if you could let me (and others) know.I didn't have my passport with me & put a different number in (I think it was my credit card numer, was very stressed at the time!!), have opted to collect the tickets, will this cause me a problem, was wondering whether I should e-mail ticktack (whatever their name is) & explain situation.

Mollydog - Onix Liceo seems to be full always if you try to book through any of the usual hotel agents. Try their own website.
