George Gordon -

in a previous post i had written about you:
The same who took the "Philosopher's Stone" for the "Sorcerer's Stone"...
In the light of what has been confirmed about the two different titles to one book by J. K. Rowling, I'll delete this reference now. And I apologize for having put it there in the first place instead of doing a more thorough research on the issue before.

Well done, takes a man to apologise.

I have taken myself out of self imposed exile. I needed to get away from the board for a few days so as not to say something I might regret. Someone mentioned the word of Patrick Swayze in Ghost and they are right.

Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Nice to be back.

Thank you for your kind words of welcome.

I find it necessary to point out that I joined this forum as a temporary measure in order to enable me to clarify the apparently all-important issue of Lizzy's occupation, which I have now done.

However, having said that, I feel it incumbent on me to inform you, so as not to appear deceiving and conniving, that this forum could be an invaluable source of material for my extended studies on the nature of the human beast.

Please therefore be informed that I shall keep an eye on this forum and may from time to time be lured into adding a comment or two, in order to attempt prevention of an unhealthy stagnation of matters.

Welcome back, Paula, and I'm looking forward to "normal service". :) You know I love this board to indulge in controversial discussion, if only the blunt edges of personal insult and nastiness designed for nothing but hurt could be kept out - "on both sides of the glass".

I know what you're talking about - for the same reasons I wait at least 24 to 48 hours before responding to some posts... and fall into the traps of revengefulness nevertheless now and then...

See you on the battle ground...

Paula I am pleased to see that you had deliberately taken yourself away from the forum for a few days. It takes a positive change of mind set to step back and weigh the situation. I am equally happy that you have now returned to give us your thoughts and ideas on topics old and new, serious and comedic, daft and profound. Welcome back. Byron 'sends his heartfelt regards'. :)
