Does Lizzytish have a JOB?

Post by Starfish »

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

What she writes mostly is all sound and fury signifying nothing.

She picks on Partisan and takes things way too personally.

She goes on for literally thousands of words and just because something crosses her mind she feels compelled to share it with the world.

She has driven off more people than anyone else while posting over a thousand times.

Does anyone see a connection?

If she does have a job, I hope it does not deal with people because then we'd be seeing a rising number of suicides in her area.

If you live near her, please check on this.

Thank you.

2 entries found for starfish.

any of a class (Asteroidea) of echinoderms having a body of usually five radially disposed arms about a central disk and feeding largely on mollusks (as oysters)

: crown of thorns
Date: 1964
: a starfish (Acanthaster planci) of the Pacific region that is covered with long spines and is destructive to the coral of coral reefs -- called also crown-of-thorns starfish
Obviously this starfish is of the destructive variety. This "starfish's" posts is of the worst and most abominable kind I can imagine. Tempted to use four letter words I refuse to talk to this "individual", but simply state that there are blind species that won't be able to make use of light.

One can either ignore the mad howls of these, or report them to a pest-control company.

Which option would be the one to choose I'll leave to your minds.

I am just sad to see such maniacs run free.

She picks on Partisan
I have not laughed so much in ages. You must be fairly new Starfish. You may not be aware but we are lucky to have the inactive version of the 'Tysh Darling' here i.e. only 5 posts per day and 18% of the total. The Various Positions version of the 'Tysh Darling' ran at a much improved 10 posts per day and 33%of the total (actually nearer 50% of actual text). I for one am worried about her, she cannot be feeling 100%.

I guess I am new, p., but I have been here enough to see one person hijack the forum. It is a terrible word, I know, but she is doing a good job crashing it into what is an otherwise longstanding gathering place.

I am happy you get a kick out of her ramblings. That helps a lot. It is also fascinating to see her syncopant Tom rush to her defense by going on the offense vs me.

Is that the kind of fan club you're striving for, Partisan? Are those the ones you want to be admired and cherished by? Well, I congratulate you on your decrepit taste and your dilapidated sense of humour, if this be the case.

Worried...

This is a wind up, isn't it.
Starfish joins June 13, reportedly lives in Florida, and comes out with such audacious comments having made no effort to join in discussions beforehand when, assumedly, reading past messages from all contributors stretching back over a year in order to formulate this opinion.
Funny how Partisan responded within the hour.

Where did I say it was you?
A wind up can be initiated by more than one person...a joint effort. Sorry if you thought otherwise.

Let us pray

We should all just kiss and hug. You know, become one united group, and share our joy and sadness. I have some nice fish and fruit here. Then you could perhaps treat me like the obvious Messiah that I am.

Peter

Ps: Party-san, if you want to hug, then I believe a proper shave would be in order

I'm sticking my neck out here...but how about a compromise ? Partisan & Co. agree to post less cutting or abrasive comments (while retaining their essential edge) and Lizzytysh agrees to simply post less (while retaining her essential endearing qualities) so that it is more in line with others in frequency. Just a thought and it's only a suggestion.......

It's partisan and his cohorts trying to run Tysh off the board again, thinking they have the right to hound someone for too much posting when the only postings they do are the lame and critical.
These two jokers are like hyenas, they hunt and co-ordinate together each feeding off the kill, neither has guts to post constructively but rather destructively.
They should congratulate Liz on her postings but do i detect a hint of jealousy?

As a first post goes I don't think I've ever seen anyone launch into a tirade against another board member. It may be that you have been lurking on the site for many months and so feel that you know the members here. However the members do not know you.

For many, myself included, I am sure this will smack of arrogance and extreme egotism (sp?) If you want people to understand your views then you will need to let people get to know you, as it is you seem like a rabid sociopath - afraid that others may be getting more attentiuon than yourself.

Georges and JTS - I agree.

Kush - I'm sure your suggestion was well meant, but I cannot agree.

There is nothing wrong with Lizzytysh submitting more posts than others, and part of "her essential endearing qualities" is that she gives herself into each topic, thread, discussion with her full personality.
There certainly is something wrong, however, with people insulting and posting "cutting or abrasive comments" that don't have an "essential edge" to retain besides being meant as cutting and abrasive. The cutting edge is their only edge.
So for the "cohorts" your suggestion is an impossible one, while Lizzytysh's part in your suggestion certainly would result in a loss of quality felt by many of us.
