No Need For Concern

Post by lazariuk »

Don't be too concerned
when this heart starts crying
That's how it is
for the newly born

Jack,

A nice poem, succinct and pregnant with possible inferences (for readers to think
about).

Surely it's more post-natal than pregnant!

Jack, this is beautiful on many levels. It hit me like the sound of cathedral bells in the morning.
"It's coming like the tidal flood beneath the lunar sway;
imperial, mysterious, in amorous array...

I'm thinking of changing it to

Don't be too concerned
when this bread starts baking
That's how it is
for the newly warmed.

The sound of the bells reminded me of the bread making I do.

*laughing*

that's much better! why speak of hearts and birth when one can enjoy baked goods, fresh from the oven of the immortal kitchen?!
