This is certainly an intensely-backgrounded poem, DangerMouse.
Well done as a poem for processing justified pain and anger. I'm sorry to hear that such levels of both have confronted you in your early years. Betrayal from two, wholly unexpected directions... one far worse than the other. Protector turned betrayor and the makings of bitterness. A wound very difficult to heal. Possibly impossible.
