Essen 1985 and Hannover 1985 offer

August is proving to be a slow month for me.

So let’s get some community spirit going on this site.

I've just acquired what I'm told are two very rare LC recordings - Hannover 1985 and Essen 1985.

The sound quality of these two shows has to be heard to believed.

I know that we have had a downloading facility set up in the past for circulating LC shows, but not everybody has the bandwidth nor the computer savvy to participate in such an exercise.

So what I’m proposing to do is to send copies of these shows out in what we in the Dylan world call a vine.

For the moment I’m afraid this offer is only open to UK residents.

To participate you need to be able to burn your copies from the original discs within 48 hours and then to post on the originals to the next person in line.

It's important that you always pass on the original discs – they will be marked to this effect.

So if you have a burner and are willing to move the discs along within 48 hours please pm me your name and email address and I will organise a vine and post the details off board to the participants.

Of course it would be nice to see participants offering up a free copy or two of these shows once they have received them to other forum users not on the vine.

Please don’t post any email or postal addresses up on the forum

Up to now you are the only person who has signed up.

I guess there can't be many LC fans around here.

The shows are sitting here ready to go.

The discs will go in the post Monday morning and you will be the first drop.

If no one else in the UK signs up I will see if anybody in mainland Euroland wants to join in.
