Leonard is apparently on radio 2 now if anyone can help with a link I would be grateful I am at work!!!

I have a cassette tape in to record while listening at this moment

There should be a listen again facility on the internet for a time.

It was brilliant at least he has come over to the UK wish there were some concerts here eh? I had to ring hubby up and tell him who was on Radio 2.

It's a very humerous interview..much in the spirit of Steve Wright.

Thanks Pete haven't got to Leonard yet quite like Steve Wright's show I should listen to it more. Lizzie in case you didn't know today is National colesterol awareness week or something and two other obsure national days

Thank you Margaret, for ringing me up to tell me about this - I wouldn't have listened today! That was surreal, listening to Steve Wright interviewing Leonard. It felt like two of my worlds colliding. Brilliant. I am listening again now (ta for making it easy for me, Pete).

Even amongst the hilarious and irreverent questioning, Leonard manages to speak great truthes:

"It's a great luxury to have a simple life."

Yes, Steve is great, Paula, and he often plays some excellent music in the "oldies" slot. I've been meaning to compile my oldies for years to send in to his show. Most people from our isles in this place are quite posh and listen to Radio Four. They don't know what they are missing.

Thanks, Paula... I'll mark my calendar.

I didn't get a chance to listen well to this interview, I'll do that tonight. It was very quick-paced, fast moving, and Leonard and Anjani seemed to enjoy the spirit of it.

Really good interview. The bloke that chose his favorite oldies should have been shot but the interview was great.
