The ape looked up at the Golden gate
and saw the king on the throne
like Ezekiel in the deserts of late
and the artictecture pushed out of the fate
that conspired in that garden of hate
to leave man all alone
to leave man all alone

But the angels did sneak
and impregnated the beasts
and caused the spark to be released
and genetically modified the priests
to allow the men to hedonistically enjoy the feasts
and the valley's of awakened lust
the birth of venus and her broken bust
the transformation of ape to man
a godly coil that in the beast was boiled
and hung on the double helix be
a godly interpretation we all shall be free
and man we will leave all alone
