LC on NPR reading a brand new lyric/poem

Post by thequeenisdead »

Forgive me if this has been the subject of prior posts.

When Leonard was talking to Terry Gross on NPR, he shared a poem-- I believe he said it was a song he had in the works, but the bare melody wasn't interesting enough to be worth singing. I can't remember any specific lines, but I do remember being blown away, as Ol' Lenny has done time and time again. If anyone has a copy of the interview and wouldn't mind transcribing the lyrics for me and anyone else who's interested, that would be great.

Again, this may have been discussed before, but the interview is rather dated now. Anything would be great.

Thanks.
