Oldie Album of the Year

Post by Henning »

Sparks - A woofer in tweeter's clothing

This came out before they had their hits with "This town ain't big enough", "Amateur hour" on Kimono my house !

I was the only Sparks fan in 50 miles distance as I was also the only Leonard Cohen fan in 50 miles distance. I haven't listened to the songs for over 20 years since I had no Vinyl-Player for a long time. Now I got the CD version and it brought back some memories from the teenage years.

Beatles: Abbey Road

Every time I listen to the record's B-side (starting with 'Here Comes the Sun', for you young, CD-socialized people), I ask myself one and the same question: where the popular music would have gone had the Fab Four stayed together for a couple more years
