Being trinity
g = l x i
i = g/l
l = g/i
where one wine-drop
sent a ripple
across the ocean of eternity
there am I
the drop
the pool
the ripple

Mat,
This is a very ingenious poem. My Dad would have called it concrete poetry. You can substitute letters eg. g could equal u (universe) etc.
The 'ocean of eternity' is a better place for your presence...
In peace

'In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer' - Albert Camus
yes Boss, you are right.
I was doing a little substituting of letters.
I was pondering Einstein's famous equation and the Tibetan concept that all is "mind".
Simultaneous views from the Eastern and Western cultures: all is energy/ all is Mind
Just for fun:
I chose to interpret "mind" as God. And worked from there.
It seems to me that the flip-side of energy (e) is a consciousness of a sort. "Mind" I suppose is as good a word as any.
But the question for each of us is (the so-called "Big Question") is "Where do I fit into this equation of being ?"
So "mass" became the individual and light (c x c)became the Holy Spirit.
I must say I am a little uncomfortable with these labels, but they work for this poem..
I will play with this a little more and probably do a revision combining einstein's equation and Trinity in "A Poet's theory of everything"
eg:
energy= mass x light speed x light speed
________________________________________
g(god)=i(the individual/atman) x l(holy spirit/light)
to:
e/mcc
_______ =1 (unified theory) of a sort.
g/il
As you can see I (mat, an individual) am in the bottom line of this unified theory (as i) and so I am, in a sense, transiently eternal and relative !.
It may be suspect physics, but I am pleased about my transient view/place in Being !
Thanks for the feedback Boss, Mat J.
