A snippet of info

"Sisters of Mercy"

This was written in a few hours one winter night in a hotel room in Edmonton, Alberta. Barbara and Lorraine were sleeping on the couch. The room was filled with moonlight relected off the ice of the North Saskatchewan River. I had it ready for them when they woke up.

Hi,
I'm new to this. I'm looking for backgrond inforation too. I'm researching "Famous blue raincaot". Does anyone know who Lili Marlene is? Also, was this ever published as a poem before being released on "Songs of Love and Hate"?
Thanks,
Sue.
