Oh what a night - July 2, Bonn, Germany !
John Fogerty and Band rocked the Arena. He ran up and down the stage, smashed his voice against the micro and hit the guitar like mad. And the crowd danced for more than 2 hours of Creedence hits nonstop. I have seen a lot of shows, this one was a real highlight. When I have this curious smile on my face it means, that I am really happy - for a while, for just a little while.
Way back when - there were these Beatles fans around me and also the Stones but I was Creedence and I was 14 and we sat in this icecream bar and I saw that girl and said to myself: "Hey tonight ...". That picture came back to me so vividly yesterday when the song began.
