thanks Henning! what a great adaptation of that poem, fast work by you to adapt it, and great work too! You also encouraged me to look up where that poem was in the book, I had to skip straight to page 156 to read it, you've reminded me to make time to read more of it. Might I hope we can hear that and other poems in Berlin?

I finally got the chance to listen, Henning ~ I love the ebullience of joyful gratitude that you've given it with your echoed voice and the rolling music with your finger picking. If I may critique it ~ but only a tad ~ I would love to hear your voice more in the foreground [even with its being echoey] and the music, exactly as is, but more in the background. As it stands now, they seem to be given almost, if not exactly, the same importance and focus, and the music tends to somewhat obscure these wonderful words.

I really like the way you made your pronunciation of "tiny" earrings 'tiny' and your voice is clear and easy to understand in the beginning; however, then the music moves forward and it begins to compete with the words. The lilting nature of the music will still be recognized and felt as just that, if it's more in the background, with your voice over it and closer to the ear of the listener.

There's my unsolicited  feedback  .

You've done beautifully with your voice and selection of a melody, rhythm, and pace in your treatment of these words, however... other than the above, that is  .

Now ~ I can go listen to your next one 8) .

Hugs,
Lizzy :D
