I'm fine, Georges.....about to take a break here. It's Friday night and I've been on this computer since I got home. Have too many other things needing my attention to continue here into the night. It's the end of a long week at work and at home. I'll talk with you later. I liked your Lady poem, but won't pursue it here on the Comments and Questions, even though this is a new thread......and has a bright element of sunshine coming forth from it so far.

I just went to and returned from elsewhere, and read two postings on Lines from So Long, Marianne. Ohhhh, the fresh air and nourishment of reading those and other amazing lyrics of Leonard's that never cease to astound me. I'm so glad I went there before closing down for the night.

Those Scary Poets
WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 — Laura Bush has postponed a White House symposium on the works of Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes and Walt Whitman after some of the poets invited said they hoped to use the event to protest American military action in Iraq.
Ha! Can't let those scary poets into the White House.
I think there is more info at http://www.poetsagainstthewar.org

One's life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation, and compassion.

Re: Those Scary Poets
If I still consumed ETOH I'd probably say some thing like "Laura Bush is the Anti-X", but luckily i give it up and X became a Y just like 6 becomes a 9.babz wrote:WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 — Laura Bush has postponed a White House symposium on the works of Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes and Walt Whitman after some of the poets invited said they hoped to use the event to protest American military action in Iraq.

Thank you LC! I don't know how ya done it but I didn't pass you by.
May I propose a thread topic?
We'll buy anything from diet sprite to one thousand points of light, i admit we're not that bright but i'm proud anyway. yeah right my generation should be proud, so proud
That ain't the thread topic and plus I stole it from Todd Snider, I'll come back with it if ya'll promise to post in it, nobody hardly tells me they hear me.
Show love to those who come real with it.
