Wondering

Post by George.Wright »

Sliding down the razor of life and death
fighting all the way till your last breath
and what was the quest?
that caused you not to see
the secret in thee?
And if it be thy will
we may get a vision of the rest
and to thy power attest
the golden temple in the sky
and the burning tiger in our eye
and our ego and the last goodbye
and the mystics that paved the way
and all our enemies to smite and slay
and the canvas texture of the universe we may
and the crumpled nature of our fight
telling wrong for right
thats the fundamental fight
of turning the day into night
and lying under the stars
and pondering the infinate of the powers
that lay us down in the sea
and germinated and impregnated the tree of life
and caused the terrible strife
of making us back to be with thee
I am a right bad ass, dankish prince and I love my Violet to bits.

Wondering

Post by Byron »

George, I am wondering if you are asking God why on earth he put himself to all that trouble, in getting us to begin life in the early seas, and then left us to struggle to get were we are today, as we try to fight our way from birth to death, with the hope of putting off death for as long as possible? When it would have been far kinder and more benevolent to have let us stay in Heaven for the whole of time instead. All the pleasure for us of being with Himself with none of the suffering?
