Antony and the Johnsons

it was hauntingly beautiful and beautifully haunting and sorrowful and longing, i was blown away, a totally indescribable experience. antony was soulful and shy and they all were just gorgeous, beautiful people

i forgot to add that he did a beautiful rendition of THE GUESTS, which he also performed at the lenny tribute in sydney

Is it The Guests that you were initially referring to? The only song I found that had to do with falling in love last night was the one about falling in love with a dead boy.

Not a big fan though... Love his version of "Soft Black Stars", and the Dead Boy, yes... But that's about it for me.

i saw him at the end of last year, and he made a few comments about 'the guests' before he sang it - along the lines of, "i normally drop a cover after a little while, but this song's got under my skin, i think i'll be singing it till the day i die."
