What a great cover! It could be anyone beneath that coat, but the hairline, body stance and 'colours,' or lack of, all suggest Leonard.
This corner has been absolutely incredible in the display of cover art, posters, shots of Leonard, etc. etc.
If I were in charge of all those photos, I might develop a 'fixation' on the man...

Hi Margaret, once again. Now, you're quite sure it's not 'Show of Hands'? or 'Hands across America'? 'Hands across the Border'? 'Let's have a good talk', "hand to hand"? 'Hand it Over'? 'Put your Hand in the Hand of the Man..."? perhaps, 'Love Handles'? 'A Hand's Width'? I'll keep my eyes peeled for the book. Thanks for the hand.Well actually, (in my very best spoken English) I was a little too hasty in posting that. The book I was referring to is titled "Talk to the Hand", I think
Linda.

The same photo was used on the cover of a Finnish crime novel "Macbeth on kuollut" (Macbeth is dead) some years ago. The book has absolutely nothing to do with Cohen. Probably the publisher has bought the photo from an international photo agency. - The photo was first printed in a series of several photos in the Canadian Saturday Night Magazine (March 1993).

It is the most recent, 2003 edition of BL, from McClelland and Stewart. I presume it's most common now. If you're doing translation, McClelland sends you this one, as they are sending its 2000 edition of Favourite Game. It is good to have those editions - I have Vintage's, and I noted many difference due to spelling.

Is there any reason to say that there is GALLERY now where you can check every Cohen's edition, and its cover?

Now, is this man also Leonard, from the back?
