Following a chat with Diane, we have decided to have a Non-LC section on the agenda for this meet up. Hopefully this may encourage partners to attend along with us "diehard" Cohenites. Also a small karaoke session for the more musical could be included in the open mic section.

There will be two roped-off sections, and upon arrival persons must declare themselves 'Cohen' or 'non-Cohen'. The Cohens will get the entertaintment, drinks etc, the 'non's' will have to sit facing the wall until they see the error of their ways. That is what you meant by a non LC section, isn't it, Ali?

If I get up to sing, will someone please remind me that I have most certainly had too much to drink, and firmly sit me back down. Thanks.

 Diane  ~

I think that method has been used before and been found to work. Generally, it's a means of last resort ~ but, if spouse is accompanying spouse to a meet-up, and has still not met with conversion, clearly drastic measures are called for. Let us know your success rate. Others need to know :D .

Sit down, Diane.

Well, tying Lee to a kitchen chair and 'breaking his thrones' certainly worked for me!
Actually, although he did not quite come away from the South Wales meet-up as LC's biggest fan, he did come away with a willingness to listen to more of LC's music - and with more friends :)

Yes, I was going to mention how Lee saw the light after our meeting, Ali 8) .

Sad news for Brit Comedy. Am a bit upset today to hear of the death of Ronnie Barker  who was the comedy genius of my childhood :(
