For Cia thesarus maybe poem

Post by Tri-me »

I don't think this qualifies as a poem, maybe a lament or an observation?

Beauty
adornment, beauty, elegance, glitter, harmony, proportion, beautiful, becoming, clean, elegant, glorious, harmonious, shapely, sleek, symmetrical, adorn, flatter, grace, harmonize

See Also better good plain rich

Ugly
defect, deformity, mess, ugliness, witch, ghastly, plain, ugly, deform

Whenever I think of you I cannot help but think that your beauty is breathtaking.

Your eyes are not only functional they are an adornment to your perfect symmetrical face.

Your nose is so shapely and sleek it is hard to believe it is natural.

Your beautiful smile is very becoming; your teeth are clean and glitter like diamonds.

Your body is a temple devoted to the elegance, and harmony of a human who has been gifted with all your parts is perfect proportion.

To be seen with a person as beautiful as you can do nothing but flatter. People invite you to adorn their parties with your grace, elegant charm, and glorious presence.

Your beauty could harmonize the world’s worst political disasters. You are naturally harmonious and deserve to be rich because you are plain better than any of us simply because you are beautiful.

Standing next to you shows the deformity, mess and ugliness of my ugly ugliness. I mean really, I am a ghastly sight, an embarrassment, the definition of a defect. People are afraid of me and think me a witch who wishes to deform others and make them at least plain. I should stay at home I must be evil, depressing. Good thing I have a cat who does not know any better. :)

Tri-me!

You are very playful. I was expecting something a little different, but I am still pleased with your bravery!

I think that stanza re: ugly and deformed could likely be changed. Your cat loves you with good reason!

Do more commas work? I do tend to rant. I don't write poetry, I write scripts and short stories, wrote this in less than half an hour. Just imagine what a person might say. The beautiful part would make a cheesy hallmark card eh?
The ugly part.....feeling PMessy

You deserve to be beautiful because you are rich.

IN REVERSE this comes across as evil, just playing with words

Whenever I think of you I cannot help but think that your ugliness is breathtaking.
Your eyes are functional but they are accentuate your deformed face.
Your nose is a defect hard to believe it is real.
Your smile is disgusting; your teeth remind me of a witch.
Your body is a mess.
To be seen with a person as ugly as you can do nothing but insult. People scream at you at parties.
Your ugliness could start the world’s worst political disasters. You are naturally ghastly and deserve to be plain because you are uglier than any of us.

Standing next to you shows the proportional, harmony and elegance of my beautiful, beauty.
I mean really, I am a sight the definition of a elegance, symmetry. People are flattered by me and think me an angel who wishes to adorn others and make them at least glitter. I should spend more time with others I must be wonderful glorious. Good thing I have a cat whom I flatter because we are equally beautiful.

Tri-me,

Well looking at it that way, you could make two. The top part for the cheesy Hallmark section. The bottom or 'ugly' part for Hallmark's PMS section. There. Hallmark's got everything covererd now.

Linda.

Oh, re: the commas, in poetry, I don't think there's usually a lot of commas, but what do I know?
