i have written a peice of verse and would very much the like the grand master Leonard to see it. is there any way of getting it to him through the internet/ post etc
Dear Robin ~
Welcome to the Forum
. If you wrote your piece of verse in homage of/to Leonard, my own, best suggestion would be to hold on to it, and keep coming here, and when his birthday comes in September, to post it here ~ to be delivered to him, via Jarkko ~ as part of your own, personal, birthday greeting to him. We've done this for two years now, and I see no reason that it won't occur, again, this year.
Simply because Leonard is so very busy these days [and not because of any lack of appreciation for the endeavours of his fans], the likelihood of your getting a response from Leonard [presumably an included interest] on your piece is highly unlikely. If it were a verse to end all verses [of Dante magnitude], you might; but truly, it's unlikely.
There is a Member's Poetry and Music section here, however; and I know that a number of us would enjoy reading it. In the meantime, all this said, there is a new address for Leonard's new management available, via the Main Page of this site [I can never remember which section, as I don't write to him, but someone will point you to it], to where correspondence to him can be directed.
So, welcome again
, and please know that many singers/songwriters/poetry and prose writers here feel exactly as you do. There would be no greater pleasure than having Leonard personally review [much less give return comment upon] their creations. You haven't been the first to ask this question, nor will you be the last
Welcome.
