In a remarkable development, the estate of Leonard Cohen has unveiled plans for a posthumous album titled Beyond the Horizon, set for release in early 2025. This announcement comes eight years after the legendary singer-songwriter’s passing in 2016. The album will feature previously unreleased tracks, showcasing Cohen’s profound lyricism and distinctive baritone that have resonated with audiences worldwide.

Accompanying the album release, a 2025 world tour has been scheduled, featuring a diverse lineup of artists influenced by Cohen’s work. This tribute tour aims to celebrate Cohen’s enduring legacy, with performances of his classic hits and selections from the new album. Cities across North America, Europe, and other regions are slated to host these concerts, offering fans an opportunity to experience Cohen’s music in a live setting once more.

Cohen’s career, spanning over five decades, was marked by his deep poeticism and exploration of complex themes such as love, faith, and existentialism. His song “Hallelujah,” released in 1984, remains one of his most celebrated works, covered by numerous artists across various genres.

The forthcoming album and tour underscore the lasting impact of Cohen’s artistry. Fans and newcomers alike can anticipate a profound musical experience that honors the memory of one of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century.

Further details regarding the album’s tracklist and the tour’s schedule are expected to be released in the coming months. As the music world prepares to celebrate Cohen’s legacy anew, Beyond the Horizon promises to be a significant addition to his esteemed discography.

I am sure that it is fake news, because of the source. If you go to the wealthoncapital website and type "Leonard Cohen" into the search box, you'll get several obviously fake news stories (including one in which Leonard Cohen is supposedly "expanding his Christmas 2024 Tour into 2025"). I wouldn't trust anything from that wesbsite.

I agree. Today this website has published a story that Adam Cohen died and another one titled 'Leonard Cohen Hospitalized After Son Adam’s Tragic Death' https://wealthoncapital.com/leonard-coh ... gic-death/. It's all fake.

Probably my favourite headline on that site is "Shakira Concentus in Civitatibus Foederatis Moratur Propter Crescentes Postulationes". (And yes, the entire article is in Latin.)

Oh, now I get it. The "writer" didn't hit the wrong translation button, but chose "Latin" on purpose, believing that is the language they speak in Latin America.

I assume it's all some AI generated stuff.

By the way- "Beyond the Horizon" is a Bob Dylan song if I remember right.
