The Fly
In his black armour
the house-fly marched the field
of Freda's sleeping thighs,
undisturbed by the soft hand
which vaguely moved
to end his exercise.
And it ruined my day --
this fly which never planned
to charm her or to please
should walk boldly on that ground
I tried so hard
to lay my trembling knees.

W swej czarnej zbroi
domowa mucha wkroczyła w terytorium
śpiących ud Fredy,
nie niepokojona przez delikatną dłoń
poruszała się bezwiednie
kończąc swoje ćwiczenia.
To mi zepsuło cały dzień -
czy ta mucha, która nigdy nie planowała
uwieść jej czy zadowolić,
powinna tak śmiało wkraczać tam,
gdzie usiłowałem z wielkim trudem
złożyć drżące kolana.
