Program of the Hydra 2017 meet up & maps

We have now confirmed this program (timings for Saturday afternoon & evening remain still open).
Note that all three City Walks follow the same route, and the same concert video will be screened on both Friday and Sunday.

We will also meet every evening at Roloi before and/or after the other program.

We will have two lists at Roloi for the concert screenings. Please sign up either for the Friday or Sunday screening. Some participants will be leaving already on Sunday and therefore want to see the concert on Friday. If you stay until Monday or longer, please take Sunday!! We will have 200 participants while the capacity at the Club is 130.

THURSDAY JUNE 8

11 am City Walk # 1 guided by Jarkko (1 h). We meet at Roloi.

FRIDAY JUNE 9

8.30 Departure to Epidaurus from the harbour. Note that the boat leaves at 8.45 sharp and cannot wait for anybody coming late. Back on Hydra around 19.30. Only for those who have reserved and paid for the trip. - Lakis has now reserved the biggest bus, and we have some free seats. Email Jarkko if you want to join this daytrip.

11.00 City Walk # 2 guided by Henning. We meet at Roloi. 1 h.

21.30 Video screening # 1 at the Hydra Cinema Club. We walk to the Club from Roloi at 21.15. 3,5 h including a break (refreshments available)

SATURDAY JUNE 10

11.00 City Walk # 3 guided by Wijbe. We meet at Roloi. 1 h.

Afternoon: special program organized by the Municipality of Hydra. (Time and details to be confirmed)

Evening: Open Air Concert by young Greek Musicians. Organizer: the Municipality of Hydra. (Time and details to be confirmed)

SUNDAY JUNE 11

10.00 Monastery Walk up to the mountain to the Monastery of Eliah. Guided by Joy Ezekiel. Be sure to take good shoes and water with you! About 3 h.

21.30 Video screening # 2 at the Hydra Cinema Club. We walk to the Club from Roloi at 21.15. 3,5 h including a break (refreshments available)

The program has also been emailed to all participants.

Lakis found a bigger bus (55 seats) for the Epidaurus trip. This means that we still have room for 3 participants.
This whole day boat/bus tour costs 70 eur. Email me if you want to take the trip.

Now we are about ready for this year's Hydra Experience!

Our meeting point ROLOI is next to the clock tower, or at the first "P" of the black & white "Psaropoula" text .
The boat to Epidaurus leaves from the dock area of "Hydra-Metochi".
Lakis will be in his shop "21st Century" to the right from the Alpha Bank.

NEW CONFIRMED SCHEDULE FOR THE EPIDAURUS TRIP.
Please note that the boat leaves at 8:45 (15 min earlier than the original plan!!!)
Please be there at 8.30!!

08.45 departure time from the port of Hydra
09.15 arrival at Metochi ,
10.20-30 arrival at the theatre of Epidaurus,
11.10-15 deparure to Corinth,
12.30 arrival and embark on the boat that sails the Corinth canal.
13.30 lunch at the taverna " TO PERAMA" at the canal
15.00 departure to the " Ranch " resort place on the inland hills, for coffee and relaxation.
15.45 arrival at the "Ranch"
17.00 departure for Metochi,
19.00 embark to Hydra,
19.30 arrival on Hydra

Hi everyone,

I imagine there will be some informal music playing/ singing sessions but I would prefer to leave my guitar at home....is there one at Roloi or are any other participants bringing guitars?
