Yes I have - it's wonderful! But I knew what to expect
after seeing Perla and Julie live on stage at the
Knitting Factory last June!

I have a copy of this album and have listened to it several times - I believe it has its place alongside the truly great tribute albums! :D I particularly like Perla's version of "Dance Me..."! 8)

Cheers :)

I did yesterday. Today I didn't get answer yet, but I'm sure it will be tomorow :D

Hanna's also asking how to order - Perla surely must except many buyers and emails from this forum.

Looks like she is out of town right now. I'm also waiting for her reply.
She also is going to update her own site with this new album.

Perla never answered my emails, and despite the rumour that album has been delayed for release, it is now listed and available thru independetn CDBaby - http://cdbaby.com/cd/perla4
There's also plenty of mp3 previews there.

A SUPERB photo of Leonard and Perla together 8) ~ one she must treasure :D . The warmth of their friendship is so clear. It exactly fits the description she gave at The Knitting Factory of them as friends :D .

Thanks for the cdbaby link!

I only had to listen to a couple of snippets to determine this is a keeper.

It is super easy to order.

cdbaby.com is a business with a sense of humor! Below is a paste of the text that came in my email with the shipping confirmation. It's a hoot.
L
Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure
it was in the best possible condition before mailing.

Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved 'Bon Voyage!' to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Thursday, September 22nd.

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as 'Customer of the Year'. We're all
exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!
