thank you for this gracious comment. i seldom write anything here nowadays, because the quality of my english has rapidly deteriorated. in any case, i was never too good at it from the beginning, nor anything else - so no great loss. the hands of the clock busily carve wrinkles into our young faces. the chalice of time, filled to the brim with exciting flavours when first lifted to our lips, becomes cracked with age and leaks into the garbage can of history. we find ourselves approaching the heart of winter, a time when it is necessary to say goodbye to the aging system. ironically, despite my "impressive prescience", i possess not the imagination nor intuition to know what lurks on the other side of the river. let us hope, therefore, that the voyage will be comfortable, and that those who sail before us will be waiting on the distant shore. hallelujah!
