How can we stop these legends from dying??
Prince's music dominated the radio throughout my student years.

I am not familiar with Prince's music but obviously know of him from the 80s when he was huge (along with Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen) and have been reading of him after his death. Anyone who moves so many people with his art must have had outstanding musicianship and stage persona (think Elvis !).

It was shocking. It seems like he was just here, just in Toronto. I toyed with getting tickets and then decided - 'next time'.
Re: Prince- dead at 57- RIP
I'm really heartbroken... I'm 26 now and started listening to his music when I was 13, so long before I discovered the wonderful Leonard Cohen, Prince was the musician I almost exclusively listened to. I had to wait 7 years before I finally saw him live for the first time in 2010 - but he was definitely worth the wait (I've attended -only- 3 more shows after that first time). Such a talented man, but also... Someone with a wonderful sense of humor and someone who really tried to make the world around him a better place. He'll be greatly missed indeed.
