Death of Martin Stark.

Debate on Leonard Cohen's poetry (and novels), both published and unpublished. Song lyrics may also be discussed here.

Death of Martin Stark.

Post by Atom Heart »

Towards the end of 'The Favourite Game', there is a passage describing the death of the young camper Martin Stark. I was simply wondering if this
event was a factual one in LC's life, or invented for use in the novel.
One can only imagine the impression of seeing a child "terribly squashed", with "his mouth full of guts".

-Thanks. :)

Martin was based on an actual character, but his death is fictional.
