NEVER

My soul burns as the rays of the sun in the skies,
My tears are as green as the view of my eyes,
I sigh with bitter sadness in the darkness of tonight,
Longing for your love, for your long-expected sight,
Wishing no more painful tears in the winter's light.

I walk alone in life wrapped into the sadness gloom
While in my tempestuous soul expectations bloom,
The silence of the abyssal agora surrounds me,
This place is as mystic as you have turned to be.

My longing for your being seems to be in vane,
You soundless watch me enduring the pain,
While my endless love for you burns in my vein,
I belong to another man, and this drives me insane ...

While my pained heart beats in your hands forever,
I'm begging for your love and all you can say is 'NEVER!'.
