When Critic2 is questioned some odd things start happening. None of the issues about him are ever addressed.

Paula/Critic2 comes from nowhere to lend support (always the same argument, if you don't want to be critiqued don't post).

John_K writes a frickin infomercial for Critic2.

The attackers (Achilles and Teratogen) mysteriously get an email telling them to be careful, that paints is really Critic2. Teratogen foolishly accepts this and posts his suspicion. A new poster appears confirming his own suspicion of this in his one and only post then writes paints a pm attacking him and, again, getting real personal about it. paints arguments are null and void and he's under suspicion.

That fails so suddenly paints is ydk.

Poets are praised by Critic2 (to show some balance) and suddenly their English improves tremendously and they start writing like Harry-Halpin/Critic2 with stupid little attack poems. Critic2 is praising his own work while the new person "loves' Critic2 for this kind words and honesty.

Critic2 admits that he punished Teratogen because he was sniding around. This goes completely unnoticed as all the defenders jump on the "accept the critique like a grown-up" arguments.

Critic2 pleads innocence and is just calling it as he sees it.

And for my critique of Critic2's works? A vicious personal attack with no "thank you" (you know, the "grown-up" way to respond) and not a single one of you has commented on. Not one. No one thinks to ask him why he didn't accept it like a grown up?

You people are being worked like a jury because that's what he does in real life.

I'm going to tell you what's bothering me, if I may.

First, I entered both poetry contests. The intermediaries of the contests can verify this. I have offered comments on others poetry to the best of my limited ability. So, please no one call me a troll or siding with trolls or tell me that I should post my poetry or offer criticism in order to be listened to.

When I first started reading Critic2, I enjoyed his poetry and said so. What I found was that the longer I read some of his criticism of others poetry the less I was enamoured of his "style." I don't object to negative critism at all. I do object to the harshness directed to some of the people who post poetry here. Those who don't take his criticism to heart. There does seem to be a double standard at work here. Critic2 has stated that if you're a friend of his he does not give crits unless he is asked by the friend. Then he will be "honest." Otherwise he just says something bland. So, where is this all consuming passion for "honest" criticism. It seems to be reserved for those who don't meet his "friendship" test. Even I, recognized that one of the poems he said was good, should not have been praised. But he knew the author. He had been unmerciful to others regarding the very same thing this author was displaying. But the author got a pat on the back instead of a knife in the back.

The other thing. I received a pm from a "Perth." Critic2, I now know that was you. You can deny it all you want on this board. But you and I know the truth. I don't understand why you feel it necessary to do this type of thing. Why do you pretend to be one person in order to tell a lie about another person? It showed a lot of contempt for me because of course, I was supposed to automatically fall for it. I don't get you. What is the point of all this masquerading?

It's a simple question really.
You defend his right to critique and the poet taking it like an adult, and according to him, saying thank you in the process.
So, I'll ask this one more time for all of you who missed it.

Why was I vicisously and personally attacked? I gave an honest opinion, one I still hold. Where's my thank you?

Instead of replying he goes on this campaign to discredit me. Are his poems above criticism? Is he not subject to the same rules he dictates to others?

Instead of attacking me why doesn't someone answer my questions?

Achilles, I too got a pm from "Perth". I presumed it was from Paints. I don't know what yours said but mine was about id's on this board. I offered to give "Perth" information in response. he/she never replied. I'm sorry that you state it is pointless for me to deny it. I am also sorry someone is tricking you and that you have presumed it is me. It was *not* from me.

I did not know that any poem I praised was from a friend. Why do you say that?

I really regret that people are replying to paints and feeding his/her trolling.

My god, you truly are amoral. Have you no shame, no decency? Actually, it's a dumb question - look at what you do.

And for those of you who will undboutedly come a running to his defense I suggest, again, you read his personal attack on me for criticising his poetry. I have no qualms about name calling since he has, and again all you have to do is read his history, called people incredible things for disagreeing or challenging him.

You "trolled" (according to your own definition) on here for months before posting a poem. Why am I a troll and you are not?

Are you going to answer my questions?

By the way, it's so nice to see partisan make another timely appearance. When will your other dozen or so identities appear to support you? About time for martine, reality check, harry halpin... oh the list is too long and I've chores to complete.

Those who met "us" at the NYC Event must be especially confused. A simple search of the leonardcohenfiles pictures will reveal the obvious truth. Although there are many pictures of Elizabeth, and of John K., there are none of us together.

Yes yes, you've all been together, you've all shared a moment in time. You're all friends. It's a nice little clique you have going here.
If it's a "private" club with rules would somebody please list them? It would certainly make life easier.
