Thank you Jarkko and Eija,
for your annual greeting and Eija’s always inspiring photo. You know that I eternally love the tradition of Silent Night being included here too. It never ceases to get me into the spirit of things. The holiday season has snuck up on me this year. Being away from home for almost a month following the Australian leg of the UHTC around this country I haven’t had time to think about Christmas and New Year but I am now.
It sure is warm and sunny here alright and I hope I have transferred some of that warmth to those who are facing a cold winter.
This is one snow(sand)man who won’t melt in the heat! He may get a little sunburnt though!
Because I’m a visual person and they add to the holiday flavour, I just had to include these images of the locals getting ready for their morning surf
They are true untouched photos and yes, kangaroos do swim in the sea on occasion!

- waiting for the right wave

- let's go now, boys!
I want to wish everyone much joy and happiness with the coming festive season and I know for sure that there are interesting times ahead for all of us next year
