Mmm... Surely a space for Young and Zappa. Even on the subs' bench?

Young -ok. Zappa surely deserves better. The Smiths would struggle to get into a pub league.

Agree, the best thing out of Manchester is the M62....
I guess it all started for me sometime around Christmas 1967 and now, goodness me, it's.........2018 and over fifty years later.
No one ever listens to me. I might as well be a Leonard Cohen record.

A musical football league. How vulgar. Like eating popcorn in an opera house.

Mancunians are vulgar. We are also revolutionaries and visionaries.
We also invented the computer.
Gave the world the Industrial Revolution, the Hacienda, music's greatest gig and the Communist Manifesto.
What did Holland provide? Fecking tulips.

Indeed.
We have many tourists each year, coming from as far as Japan, to see the fecking tulips.
It is quite an attraction. You should come and see for yourself.
