New Section

How about a new section is set up for purely people who wish to sound off about anything or anyone rather than waste idle chat on LC`s pages?

People sound off in life, it is the way of the world. It is what a community is all about, gossip, bickering, interest, moaning . It is when nobody gives a damm that the board dies.

If you are suggesting that people should not disagree with others comments the board will be boring. Do you not argue in your family home? Argument and discussion are how humans learn to tolorate others and form communities. It is also how friends are formed. Most of the good friends I have now are people who were opinionated and often our opinions differed. I would rather befriend someone with an opinion (even if it differed from mine) than someone who has no input to give.

You have a selection of people here from all walks of life and all countries. We all see things differently, the only thing we have in common is our love of LC. My sense of humour differs from a lot of you, my tolerance of different situations also differs from a lot of you.

I think considering all the above the fact that this board is so vibrant is a testement to the fact that beneath all the bickering and complaining we do actually seem to gel in a strange and sometimes volatile way. Vive la difference

Hi Paula, no perhaps I haven`t explained myself very well. I meant a seperat piece entirely for anything that doesn`t relate to LC.

I think the comments and questions part is meant to be general chatter.

Not a bad idea at all -- this way the LC stuff and the other topics would be found easier. Any suggestions fot the title of this "private topics" section??

Jarkko, you will be able to make all of the people happy some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you won't be able to make all of the people happy all of the time. That saying goes something like that.
