Leonard biography, which one?

Post by maroo »

Hi everybody,
I was thinking to buy a Leonard Cohen biography, to try to understand better the man that wrote the music and poetry I love.
Which one you think could be a good start point!?
I was thinking to buy the last one out:

And from the review, and the interview I read online seems really good.
What do you think!

thanks in advance!!!

Hi Piero,

Sylvie Simmon's biography looks like it will be the one, on account of two factors:
impressively researched and it is most up-to-date (up to 2012).

Plus, all the reviews, as you say, have been excellent.

Enjoy :)

"Who, being loved, is poor?"
(Oscar Wilde)
"That love is all there is" (Emily Dickinson)
"A miracle, just take a look around: The inescapable earth" (Wislawa Szymborska)
