Facing a future?
going into a war

I got most of this from a quotation by Brecht, who described the plot of a Play. I cannot claim any credit for the prose. The symbolism struck me very hard when I heard the quote. I built a few words around Brecht. It was about a war, but could be about any conflict and what is left afterwards.
