Wrap me in my cocoon
and send me on my way
Not the shroud
My body
on loan for today
Tomorrow may be far behind
in lost remembrances
My futures are certain
My pasts fall away
Emerging from this cocoon
into infinite starbursts of light
into a finite essence of love
distilled through vessels
now lost to time and dust
Cocooned to be free
forever
