Hi Taigaku ~

No problem. As of this writing, I've received 6 entries. Laurie and I are very pleased with that , given the snafu of animosities surrounding it. Eventually, the cream rises to the top, right?

Yes, I wish everyone well in this. Unfortunately, I feel luck does play a part in it. There can be equally well-written poems [i.e. poets' skills], but ultimately, only one can be chosen. It will still have to come down to the judge's struggle to select, and arriving at a decision given various factors, some of which may be undefineable. Know what I mean? Too tired to know if I stated it right .

Fortunately, it is NOT up to me! Here come da judge ~ and it is not Lizzytysh ! Meanwhile, I'm delighted that even some who don't write poetry are coming up with a contribution just to get into the spirit of things and, as one said, they love that there's a poetry contest happening on this Forum!

I've just sent on #13, Taigaku. Isn't Laurie the happy one!?! I'm sooooo glad it's her and not me . Don't know if this seedy hotel had a 13th floor, but it does now.

OK, as of now ~ 16 poems submitted . However, the last 3 of those are lacking a title .
