I am amazed at the so called poets on this site allowing themselves to be totally manipulated all because of anoniminity. People should post whatever dribble they want, without being taken to task. I am surprised at you all falling into the trap of being controlled by Critic 2, a most learned and educated gentleman or barrister, who gets his kicks out of control.

Hi ALL~
Although i am not usually a great optimist, i sort of view the 'contest' as a lemonade from lemons event.
C2 has on occasion written some things here that do ring true. I even for a few seconds at one time thought maybe he was genuinely concerned. If not for the poet, for poetry in general. Well that fell out the window a while back.
After reading his truly mean piece attached to Else's poem, I stuck him in my beyond redemption box.
So, somewhere between the past and now an IDEA floated to the top. Maybe c2 is a nexus to a theme oriented contest. But he does not have to be a factor beyond that, if in Fun folks around here want to play.
He may and probably will rip whatever comes from the contest to shreds. So what?
I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. What i am trying to convey is that i hope this event is not viewed as a puppetry of this guy...if that is the case, then the 'contest' should not take place. Please take all this in with the air of fun it is 'now' intended.
