Hi everyone,

I've just discovered this site and I am enjoying reading all the back-posts. (It's taking awhile!) I love Leonard and have listened to him for a few years now and I hope to be able to go to New York in 2004.

Thanks for the welcome.

I discovered him watching Austin City Limits and was bowled over. I didn't know anything about him. I went out the next day and bought his whole catalog. I'd never done anything that crazy before. So here I am five years later...addicted.

We can thank Austin City Limits in this country, that is where I first heard him too. I wrote his name down so that I wouldn't forget, and the next day went looking for an album of his. Also looked him up on the computer and really started to wonder where I had been all those years.
What are your favorite songs and albums?

Dear Linda,

Various Positions is my favorite album. At first I didn't know what to make of his earlier work since I was exposed to his late stuff first. His younger voice took some getting used to. But now my favorite song is Avalanche. I guess that says something terrible about me.
