The contracted word 'ain't' is a grammatically correct contraction of 'were not', or a jocular contraction of 'am not'.
You do serve a purpose as an illustrative example of how not to spell, write or behave. I suppose everyone is good for something.

that's correct Makera. And it's also true, as George will proudly tell you, that "start" rhymes with "part" and "Zen" with "ten", but it's the particular use by you that was weedy.
Writing is not a mechanical task simply fulfilled by the use of a dictionary, a rhyming programme, or even a "spellchecker". You need to feel at ease with language.
Whilst you show no signs of any writing talent yet, Makera, it doesn't mean you should give up. You may write anything you wish for your own enjoyment or the applause of your peers. It's your time to waste as you choose.
If however you were ever serious about learning to write you would need quite a change of approach and quite a change of attitude.
Anyway, Good Luck whether you decide to learn or you spend your energy on some other activity.

And I was wondering about your habit of addressing your views about me to a friend, albeit a really super writer like Martine, instead of to me directly. It's as if you approach your enemy ready to attack him, then pat the nearest wall instead.
Is it because you are scared of me, maybe an inherent gutlessness, or is it just a contrived show of superiority and detachment? Whatever psychological need compels you it is only minor games-playing and my curiosity won't last long. After all, I still have the massive task of teaching you to write.
