I rather like its passive stance of awaiting that affirmation.
The endorsement that's so essential. You know the one. I'd leave it as is. A nice contrast to the active voice.

Even as a troll poem this is awful. When such obvious joke verse is posted to the alt.art.poetry.comments newsgroup it draws no response. Trolling has to be subtle enough or clever enough to fool the reader. No-one would believe this took more than 5 minutes to write.

Also explain the "status" system to me please. Is it something that matters to you a lot? There are of course other forums where you could troll without needing to pretend you can write.
