Eric Whitacre's "Virtual Choir"project on Youtube began in 2010 with "Lux Aurumque," Latin for "Light and Gold."
185 voices from 12 countries came together for "Lux Aurumque." In the first two months, it had more
than one million hits. A few minutes ago, it had 1,876,245 hits. Here's a

Eric Whitacre is one of the most popular conductors and composers of contemporary classical music of his generation.
He will be a guest on the WCHE Entertainment and Culture Show tomorrow, Friday, March 25, 2011
following a segment with shakuhachi Grand Master Ronnie Nyogetsu Seldin. The one hour show begins at 3:00 p.m.
